Volunteer Work

Environmental Opportunities

  • The National Aquarium relies on over 500 volunteers each year to support their mission of inspiring conservation. Volunteers play a crucial role in every aspect of the aquarium's operations, regardless of their expertise in oceanography or animal care. As long as volunteers can commit to at least a year of weekly service, they will receive training from the expert staff. Some volunteer positions may be at capacity, limited opportunities are available. The National Aquarium encourages interested individuals to check back regularly for updates on available positions. • Marshy Point Nature Center presents a list of options for students to participate in. Participate in exploring outside to learn something new, teach others, and meet people who care about nature as much as you do. ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û to view current volunteer and internship opportunities.
