John Burger

Biography

John D. Burger is professor of economics in the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland. Beyond teaching at Loyola, Professor Burger has been a visiting scholar at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland and De Nederlandsche Bank in Amsterdam. He has served as a consultant to the OECD, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank. Professor Burger received a B.S. from Wake Forest University and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
